What we find on New Caney roofs

The roofs, the storms, and what an honest inspection finds.

New-construction roofs here are large and steep; we find the same fast-build issues as across the north side: lifted shingles after the first big wind, valleys without metal, and cracked boots. Older Roman Forest and Woodbranch roofs carry layers, debris, and decking rot.

Heavy tree cover means limb damage in every major storm. Tavola, The Highlands, and Harrington Trails have HOA color review; older sections generally do not.

New Caney is about an hour and twenty minutes from the office; we batch it with Porter and Kingwood.

  • “Bluebonnet Exteriors were wonderful! They gave a competitive quote and offer very good quality windows. The installation team with Carlos was also great! They taped everything off well, took their time installing - did not rush through, and cleaned up very well when they were finished! We have received so many compliments and questions on what company we used. I would definitely recommend! Thank you for our beautiful windows!”

New Caney questions

Good to know before your inspection.

Do you work in Tavola and The Highlands?

Yes, regularly. Both have architectural review for roof color; our Owens Corning and TAMKO standard colors are approved, and we handle the submission before your install.

Is the roof inspection really free?

Yes. One of our own estimators walks the roof, photographs every issue, checks decking, flashing, and ventilation, and gives you a written line-item price before leaving. There is no charge and no obligation, and we will tell you honestly if a repair is all you need.

Which shingles do you recommend for Houston?

Owens Corning Duration and TAMKO Heritage architectural shingles. Both carry 130-mph wind ratings when installed to spec, resist algae streaking in our humidity, and come in colors that match Houston brick and stone. We do not install GAF or CertainTeed.
