What to Expect

A roofer
worth your time.

We climb the roof, document exactly what we find, give you an honest recommendation, and hand you a fixed price. No high-pressure scripts. No storm-chaser tactics. No mystery numbers. Here's exactly how it works.

The Process

Five steps. Zero surprises.

From the free inspection to the final magnet sweep of your yard, you'll know what's happening and why.

01

Free roof inspection

We book at a time that works for you and show up on time — a real person from our family, not a robo-call. We climb the roof, photograph every plane, valley, and flashing, and check the attic and decking. No obligation, no pressure, no sales trap.

02

Documented findings & an honest quote

We sit down and walk you through photos of exactly what we found — then give you a line-item, all-in quote. If a repair will get you where you need to be, we'll tell you so. The number we quote is the number you pay: labor, materials, tear-off, disposal, and ventilation.

03

Storm or hail? We handle the claim

If the damage is storm- or hail-related, we walk you through the insurance-claim path. We'll meet your adjuster on the roof, document the damage side by side, and make sure the approved scope restores your roof to code. You handle your deductible; we handle the paperwork.

04

Tear-off & rebuild — often in a day or two

We schedule the work and our own crew arrives together, uniformed and ready. We protect your landscaping, tear off down to the deck, replace any rotted decking, and build the new system in layers — underlayment, GAF or Owens Corning shingles, and proper ridge ventilation. Most homes are done in a day or two.

05

Final inspection, cleanup & warranty

We inspect every valley, flashing, and penetration with you, then haul away every scrap and run a magnet over the yard for stray nails. You're covered by the manufacturer's material warranty and our own workmanship warranty — in writing, before we leave.

Family-Owned. Full Stop.

We're not that company.

You know the type — the out-of-town crew that shows up after every hailstorm, high-pressures you into a full replacement you may not need, and is three states away by the time the roof leaks. We built Bluebonnet to be the opposite of that.

We're a family operation. Doug and his family run every roof personally. Our reviews show nobody walks away feeling like they got played — because nobody does. We treat your roof the way we'd want ours treated if someone was working on our home.

  • No high-pressure sales script — ever.

  • No storm-chasers knocking after every hailstorm.

  • No mystery pricing or last-minute add-ons.

  • No subcontractors — our own crews, every roof.

  • No pushing a full replacement when a repair will do.

  • No leaving you with a pushy packet and a follow-up call every day.

Common Questions

Good questions deserve straight answers.

  • How long does the inspection take?

Most roof inspections run between 30 minutes and an hour, depending on the size and pitch of your roof and how many questions you want answered. We move at your pace. We're not trying to fill a sales quota — we're trying to give you the information you need to make a good decision.

  • Will I get a price the same day?

Usually, yes. Once we've walked the roof and documented what we found, we hand you a fixed, all-in quote — often the same day. The number on that sheet is the number on your invoice: no hidden labor costs, no disposal fees, no "oh, we ran into something" surprises after tear-off.

  • Do you use subcontractors?

Never. Every roofer who steps onto your roof is a Bluebonnet employee — trained, vetted, and accountable to us personally. We've been doing this for over 18 years and we've never handed a roof to a storm-chaser crew we couldn't vouch for.

  • What does install day look like?

Our crew arrives together in the window we give you — not a four-hour "sometime between 8 and noon." We protect your landscaping and siding, tear off the old roof down to the deck, replace any bad decking, build the new system in layers, clean up completely, and run a magnet over the yard for nails. Most homes are done in a day or two.

  • What if it's a storm or insurance claim?

We do this every week. We'll meet your adjuster on the roof, document the storm or hail damage side by side, and make sure the approved scope restores your roof to code. You handle your deductible and we handle the paperwork — start to finish.
