Harris County

Roofing company in Houston, Texas.

Inside the Loop and across Harris County, Houston roofs are as varied as the houses under them: steep 1920s bungalow roofs in the Heights, low-slope mid-century ranches in Meyerland and Oak Forest, and complex multi-gable roofs on new construction in Rice Military. We have torn off and rebuilt all of them.

What we find on Houston roofs

The roofs, the storms, and what an honest inspection finds.

Older Houston homes hide rotted decking under layered roofs, undersized ridge ventilation that cooks the attic, and flashing that was never replaced through three shingle generations. We tear off to the deck, replace what is soft, and re-detail every chimney, valley, and wall intersection instead of roofing over the problem.

Houston takes hail in spring, tropical wind and rain through fall, and brutal attic heat all summer. Historic districts and deed-restricted neighborhoods (Heights, Memorial, Braeswood) often review shingle color; our Owens Corning and TAMKO lines are approved in all of them.

Our crews are inside the Loop and across Harris County every week. Inspections are available any weekday and most Saturdays.

  • “Bluebonnet Exteriors were wonderful! They gave a competitive quote and offer very good quality windows. The installation team with Carlos was also great! They taped everything off well, took their time installing - did not rush through, and cleaned up very well when they were finished! We have received so many compliments and questions on what company we used. I would definitely recommend! Thank you for our beautiful windows!”

Houston questions

Good to know before your inspection.

Do you work on roofs in Houston's historic districts?

Yes. We re-roof Heights, Woodland Heights, and other historic-district homes regularly and match the profile and color guidelines those districts expect. We also handle the low-slope porch and addition roofs common on bungalows with proper membrane, not shingles.

Do you help with hail and wind insurance claims?

Yes. We document storm damage with photos and measurements, meet your adjuster on site, and build the scope so nothing is missed. You pay your deductible; we never waive or 'absorb' it because that is insurance fraud under Texas law.

Is the roof inspection really free?

Yes. One of our own estimators walks the roof, photographs every issue, checks decking, flashing, and ventilation, and gives you a written line-item price before leaving. There is no charge and no obligation, and we will tell you honestly if a repair is all you need.
